Yesterday I was at band practice with my other band Another Perfect Day, and we decided to watch Obama's inauguration. When he gave his speech, I was awed. I said to Danny "Wow, he's good." Then I realized, I hadn't seen a good political speech since "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." A lot of people have reservations about Obama, but I think it's normal in hard times to doubt the new guy. I think most of the doubt is wrongly-placed, though. I keep hearing from the normal idiots around the world "His middle name is Hussein!" Yeah, so is like half the middle east. It's a normal name like "John." It doesn't mean he has any ties to that stuff. And no, he's not muslim. Not that his religion should matter, but some how religious biggots think that if you're muslim or athiest, you shouldn't have power.
But I have hope for the future. It can't really be worse than the last jack ass.
